Our Estate Vineyard.

Located in the northeastern corner of the Walla Walla Valley AVA, our namesake 49-acre vineyard was planted in 2009 and provides the winery with several high quality varietal selections.

The Columbia Valley

The Columbia Valley is a winemaker’s dream, with low rainfall and long sunny days during the peak of summer. When paired with the diurnal shift—hot days and long, cool nights—the result is concentrated and well-pronounced flavor that locks in perfectly balanced acidity. This largest and most diverse viticultural region in Washington state offers a full artists’ palette for our winemaking team.

Waterbrook Estate Vineyard

Walla Walla Valley AVA

Our namesake vineyard was first planted in 2009 on the former site of homesteader Uriah Corkrum’s historic wheat fields in the Spring Valley area. Unique silt loam soils with little sand hold in moisture, and its hot days and cool nights capture great acids and sugars.

Waterbrook Estate Vineyard enjoyed its first harvest in 2012 and continues expanding its plantings with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Chardonnay.

Terroir-driven flavors of red wines grown in this area are noted by critics as intense, with almost syrupy notes laced with streaks of herb and grass, evocative of the wheat crop that ruled its rolling hills. Wheat still grows in nooks and valleys in the peak of summer; reflections off this bright landscape further help ripening.
